29 December Kathmandu. 10.26 percent dividend of Muktinath Development Bank has been passed. The 17th annual general meeting of the bank has passed 10.26 percent dividend. 9.75 percent of the dividend is bonus shares and the remaining 0.51 percent is cash dividend for tax purposes. From this meeting For 2080/081, general resolutions including the appointment of auditors have been passed.
Chairman of the bank’s board of directors, Bharatraj Dhakal, chaired the event. Gajendraman Shrestha, a member of the bank’s board of directors, gave a welcome speech and Pradyuman Pokharel, the bank’s chief executive officer, informed about the bank’s current situation and future strategy.
Presented on behalf of the board of directors in the general meeting. There were suggestions and inquiries from various shareholders regarding the annual report of 2079/080. The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer made it clear regarding the inquiries from the shareholders. In the same ceremony, former chairman of the bank Meen Prasad Gurung gave a congratulatory speech.
The annual general meeting also elected the new board of directors of the bank. Til Bahadur Gurung, chief information officer of the bank informed that Bharatraj Dhakal, Narayan Kumar Shrestha, Bharat Prasad Lamsal, Vinod Kumar Sharma and Saroja Shrestha (Koirala) were unanimously elected to the new board of directors.
